This rod is a great rod. It's got a great feel to it and has a stiff tip. I paired mine with a matching Quantum reel and it's a great casting combo. The grip is very ergonomic.

Unfortunately the rod was held by the post office because $58.86 was due in shipping on it. Even though it said it was sold and shipped by Amazon it was shipped by a supply chain company called Menlo Worldwide. They took two long regular boxes and taped them together and shipped based on weight alone ($12). I refused shipment and bought at a local store.

That's not fault of the rod itself and overall I love the rod.

This boot is excellent. Better contructed and more comfortable than the $300 boot from my MD.
I had heel surgery and was fitted with a boot at my MD. I never had experienced a walking boot before, so it was what it was.
