This bat is very well balanced and really drives the ball. The only negative I had was the grip of the bat, it doesn't hold pine tar or tap well. Most bats have a "dead feel" when you it on the end of the bat on outside pitches, the bamboo is solid and still delivers a great hit on sliders outside. A strong swing is not needed for this bat to produce a line drive base hit due to the bamboo hardness. The finish on the bat is very durable, has a great sheen to it. It cleans up very well and after 100's of hits in the cages, ball scuffs clean right up. We really like the feel and performance of Bamboo, I think Mizuno makes some of the top quality bats like their gloves. I would diffently purchase this product again.

My son used it in a High School preview tournement, got jammed and broke it. It broke just above the roughed handleed part to smooth part and it looked like the seam from a bamboo let go. It did break within the 90 warranty and Mizuno was totally awesome in the process. I was dissatisfied with Baseball Savings.com they came back right away and said sorry, to bad. This was before I went to Mizuno's web site and read the procedures for filing a claim. I filed the claim, in 2 days I had an RMA #, got a personal email from an actual human. They approved the claim and agreed it was difective. Our exact match was out a few weeks, so I got to pick an equal value Bamboo, it is on it's way.
