Purchased item 2 yrs ago and use on a 12 gauge 3-1/2 inch chamber turkey gun that to say the least has a bit of kick. Scope has been flawless but when sighting in remember 1 click = 1 inch at 100 yrds (which I failed to check when sighting in at first and was off by a power of 4. 8-)...). Having both colors is great as fall/early spring colors and early morning light when some turkeys come running to see my hen can make quick target the difference between turkey for dinner or missed shot. I'm still running on the original battery on it and like the extra battery storage for the just in case. I have it on a saddle mount weaver base on my 11-87 Super Mag. Rheostat adjustment allows you to fine tune the brightness to your liking.
