The balls were purchased because I was tired of paying a lot of money for the 'good' tennis balls and the balls made for dogs never seemed to hold up. I like these balls for at least three reasons;

1) there are 60 of them, so I never have to search for one to play with. The corollary of that is that my house is now littered with tennis balls but that is more because I'm sort of a lazy slob.

2) They are softer than normal tennis balls and they give my German Shepherd Dogs as false sense of awesomeness when they get a good chew in.

3) They are pretty bright to begin with. So until the balls get nastified by the dog mouths they are pretty easy to track at dusk and find when they roll into high grass.
