UTG 3X40 Reticle Intensified Tactical CQB Scope Review

Installed the scope on the top receiver rail on my rifle. Zeroed the scope. fired two groups after zero and removed the scope. When I reinstalled the scope I shot 3 new groups. Center of aim was about 1/8" off. Good enough for plinking. Mounts tight. Has not become loose. No rattleing. The green reticle is good for low light morning and evening. WISH it was rubber armoured. But I know this model has been replaced. On my rifle, the front scope cover blocks the open sight view. ***Don't offer a feature if it ruins another feature.*** I might modify the front scope cover to not block the open sight view. Again for under a hundred bucks, what does a person expect? The amount of hazing and distortion is normal for this class of optic.
DOES ANYONE MAKE A DECENT 3 TO 6 POWER SHORT SCOPE FOR $300 OR UNDER? THESE SCOPES THAT COST MORE THAN THE RIFLE ARE NICE BUT NOT EVERYONE CAN AFFORD THEM. IF SO, ONE SCOPE IS NOT SEAMLESS TO CHANGE FROM RIFLE TO RIFLE. REZERO REZERO REZERO. REALLY? SOME COMPANY COULD MAKE A KILLING.
