I bought this holster to wear while running since my running shorts can't provide the support needed for an IWB holster. I didn't believe it would hold my Glock 21 when I first removed it from the package but it surprised me. Its snug but it fits. With the waist band adjusted correctly the waist pack will stay in one spot and won't bounce around. Which is great because getting hit in the gut with a full sized Glock is quite distracting. The draw is excellent. One tug at the rip chord and you're ready to go. It's slim so it doesn't look like a fanny pack that you see tourists at Disney World or old women at Garage sales wearing. The zippered pocket in front holds my phone and the side pockets are large enough for a couple of keys or a few extra rounds if you're a wheel gunner.

2008 Upper Deck MLS Trading Cards Review

This is a general review for the 2008 MLS soccer card RETAIL box by Upper Deck.

So far I have bought only one box of these cards (as of Aug 31st, 2013).

It is important to note that there are essentially two types of soccer card boxes: Hobby Boxes, and Retail Boxes. Hobby boxes are sold primarily to card shops, are more expensive, and contain more rare cards per box (greater likelyhood of scoring very special cards). Retail boxes are more common, sold to big box stores and are cheaper to purchase.

This review is for the RETAIL BOX variety.

I purchased a sealed retail box with thirty six, ten-card packs. Each standard pack contains nine random base set cards (base set of 200 cards) and one insert card (special subsets of cards in addition to the base set) of which there are 100 insert cards total divided among five sets called goal scorers, assist kings, MLS Superdraft, goal keepers, and young guns.

In theory you should also get two game-used jersey cards but that is not always true. My box contained only one pack with a game used jersey card and it wasn't even a very good one.

However, since there are only 200 cards in the base set and you get more than 300 base set cards I was lucky enough to complete a base set with one box, have a good number of doubles, and only end up with six triplicates.Also, I'm not sure if I'm just lucky or this is normal, but I didn't end up with any duplicate insert cards, so while I'm far away from finishing any of the five insert sets, I'm lucky to have all unique cards from one box with no insert duplicates.

I'm particularly curious in regard to how often people end up with only one game-used jersey card or no insert duplicates, or a complete base set out of one retail box.

OnGuard Boxer 5047 Motorscooter and Motorcycle Disc Brake Lock Review

I bought this last year for my Vespa along with an OnGuard chain. I do street parking. I loop the heavy chain through the back wheel (recommended by the Vespa Store) because it is harder for thieves to remove the back wheel, then I loop the chain around a pole and lock it with the OnGuard Boxer 5047 lock. This morning when I unlocked it, I noticed that it was scratched up bad, like someone was trying to cut it. But it was mostly surface scratches. So this thing is tough! If it weren't for this (and the OnGuard chain), my Vespa would have been stolen off the streets of Washington, DC. See customer pictures, I will upload some.

Fox M16 Assault Pack, Army Digital Review

2013 March Update: The pack is still going strong. Ever since the re-stitch it seems to hold up fine. My friend for the ACU version last year and her's fell apart instantly at the drawstring flap seam as well. Seems to be a flaw in the design but an easy fix if your handy with a needle or just dont care about the closure.

2011:I picked this up for a nice hiking daypack. I am pleasantly surprised by the quality of the construction and materials. Everything is double stitched and there are lots of velcro backings and strapping loops for attaching other gear or pouches. Its easily big enough to be considered a 3-day pack.

Pros:
1- It comes with a removable/coverable velcro reflective patch
2- 6 exterior pockets make the actual dimensions around 8" wider and deeper
3- Plenty of spare webbing to attach external gear. The webbing also has backside velcro
4- all pockets have draw-strings and drain holes, the main bag has a rain-proof interior lining
5- The kidney pad is removable for light duty use
6- it has a covered slot on the lid for a camelback hose or headphones, etc..
7- similar to the military ruck the lid has a velcro pouch
8- The back pad is slim but accessible to replace with the foam of your choice
9- There is a fabric divider in the pack to make it two compartments if desired

Cons:
The biggest issue ive had with this bag is with not even a tug the fabric top rain liner of the man pack came right off due to bad stitching location. every other sewn point I checked and tugged and seems sturdy however.
1- the front pouches on the lid are little smaller
2- Wasn't able to find it in OD Green :(
3- Says Made in China (but the quality doesnt reflect this)

Bottom Line: This bag is worth every dollar, and hopefully your rain cover is better mended or do yourself a favor like I did and re-sew it on.
