The secret is the FingerLok retention mechanism that secures the pistol by the trigger guard when inserted in the holster. Based on online reports that this would fit my my 92a1 I purchased it. Finding holsters for the 92a1 is difficult. Initially it was to tight. Inserting the gun was difficult and pulling it out took a significant amount of effort. It was not usable that way. I wrapped saran wrap around the barrell with some thin cardboard on the sides towards the end of the barrel to make the gun thicker where the holster was to tight. I left it in the holster that way for a few days. Now it's an exact fit. I really like the positive retention on this holster and how close it holds it to the body. With my shirt untucked it's very well concealed even for a gun as big as the 92a1 is.
