Swede-O Deluxe Padded Night Splint allows the patient to apply a consistent 90 degree angle stretch to the plantar fasciitis by holding the foot in a gentle dorsiflexion. A removable foam wedge insert is included for an additional 5 degree stretch on the plantar fascia. Designed to be worn during sleep or rest to help relieve pain from plantar fasciitis and Achilles tendonitis. The soft gray padded cover provides patient comfort and protection against skin irritation. May be used on either foot. Gray in color. I have a slightly wider than average foot for a woman, and that affected my ability to wear this splint. Although the splint is nicely padded and has nice straps to hold a foot securely, it doesn't leave enough space at the ball of the foot. I traded in plantar fascitis for pain at the ball of the foot. After several nights of waking up with what might be called bunion pain (but I don't have bunions), I gave up on this splint.
