One installed on my strikeforce 10/22 stock, the buffer tube made the whole lower half of the stock seem more sturdy and made it so that there was less movement in the stock. The only thing that I wish that came with it would be an aluminum adapter so you can use the iron sights. It sucks using the plastic one that came with the stock on the aluminum buffer tube. Dont get me wrong, it still works, but that would be a nice addition. I contacted ATI and they are not producing the angled adapter at this time. Hopefully in the future though. Overall, its a nice upgrade. I recommend get it on this site.
