I love to swim but not in the temps public pools stay at! I have baby and toddler wetsuits for my children and when we no longer had access to a warm water pool I started searching for something for myself. I am comfortable playing with my kids in the 85 degree public pools with this top over my suit. When the kids pool was closed we did some swim practice in the 70 degree lap pool and I am happy I had this...without the constant lap swimming motion it was quite chilly but I lasted as long as they did. At the end of the summer I wanted to test it so I got in 65 degree water...I was cold at first but with constantly moving became comfortable. I have swim laps in the top and found it comfortable and didn't restrict motion at all. The only downside is it kept creping up...annoying but didn't effect functionality, I'm busty and could probably use a smaller size than I got. I would say sizing seemed to run right with the chart.

Our facility had a fire while we were swimming so I got to test the top out standing outside in 65 degree weather soaking wet because my towel was all wrapped around my toddler. I was cold but could feel a huge difference from my top to my legs!

I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a light layer to use in water for whatever reason to feel warmer.
